About me

Hi! My name is Naman Agarwal. 

I was born and raised in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. 

I am an aspiring Theoretical Physicist with a keen interest in Mathematics and the interplay of Physics and Maths. 

Currently I am working towards my Ph.D. which I am doing at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. 

In my Ph.D., I am trying to understand how to get Effective Field Theories from higher dimensional String Theories and Supergravities. I am also trying to study more about structure of field theories and string theory. 

Academically, I am really inclined towards teaching, Physics and Mathematics. I also have a keen interest in science outreach and hop onto any opportunity I get for the same.
